Designed by Rob Humphreys, the Oyster 56 is a supremely comfortable bluewater cruiser, capable of taking oceans in her stride and accommodating her crew with plenty of room to spare, yet she can be handled by just two.

This 4 cabin version yacht was purchased and professionally re-fitted in order to take part in the Oyster World Rally but unfortunately, due to personal circumstances, plans changed and the yacht is now being made available for sale.

Her re-fit was extensive and highlights include:

She is now undergoing her final preparation works before being made available for sale in the Portsmouth area in early July.

• Deck washed, compounded and polished
• Boom washed and wax polished
• Stainless steel deck fittings polished
• Window frames sanded and repainted
• Coachroof sanded and repainted
• Seacocks serviced
• Teak gunwale sanded
• Lazarette hydraulic stays replaced
• Prop Speed applied to propeller
• Deep clean throughout the interior
• Saloon upholstery professionally steam cleaned
• Main saloon sole boards sanded and re-varnished
• Interior mast trims stained and varnished
• Forward bulkhead re-finished in textured material
• Owners cabin blinds replaced
