RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised A – “Ocean” (or Cat B – whichever is appropriate)

 

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

  • The Sense 50’s innovative features include a wide beam, chinned hull, and twin rudders, which help maximize space on the boat, reduce heel, and improve handling.
  • Monolithic hull in polyester with an integral molded grid structure that is bonded to the shell.
  • The molded fiberglass deck is bonded and screwed to the hull with a solid wood toerail that provides added stiffness along the side deck.
  • Real teak decks provide excellent grip and a quality look, which are vacuum bonded to the glass fiber and balsa deck.
  • Deck hull joint bonded and screwed with solid wood toerail.

Keel & Rudder:

  • Cast iron keel fixed with stainless steel bolts and backing plates.
  • Shallow keel with 6’ 1” draft.
  • Twin spade rudders with stainless steel rudder stocks.
